The project titled ”Fuel Cells and Green Hydrogen Centers of Vocational Excellence” aims to address the skills shortage in the clean hydrogen sector. It plans to launch the H2Excellence Platform to offer lifelong education and develop international courses. It also aims to form local training hubs in key countries to help meet the European Green Deal’s energy goals.

The Erasmus+ -project, led by Vaasan Ammattikorkeakoulu VAMK, connects over 20 institutes and organizations from several countries. The goal is to support the European Green Deal by addressing the skills gap in the fuel cells and clean hydrogen area.

Another objective is to establish leading European knowledge centers for training, research, and awareness in green hydrogen technology. The project will also promote green hydrogen in local economies, ensuring quality job opportunities in the sector.

The project’s international kick-off meeting was organized in Vaasa 11th -12th of September. The group also spent a day working in Wasa Innovation Center.
